Hellebore Birthday

Hi there!  The card I'm sharing was made for the current Freshly Made Sketchs and Seize the Birthday challenges.  For STB, the "toppings" theme is to include dots and stripes.

I recently acquired a sweet Hellebore stamp and the size worked great for the sketch.  It was Copic colored similar to the Hellebore flowers we have in our yard, purple with a yellow green center and stamen.  After fussy cutting, it was foam mounted on a white circle die.

The Black and White Basics paper pack from MFT made it easy to add the strips and dots, letting the flower be the star of the show.  The sentiment was tucked in behind the horizontal panel, then silver and sparkling clear sequins added for the final touch.

Thanks so much for dropping by!  I've added links above to both challenges, so be sure to check them out!
