Miss You

Hello friends!  The card I'm sharing today is for the current challenge at Just Us Girls, where the theme is Inlay Die Cuts.

For my card I stamped various leaf and floral images on a white card panel, then colored the images with Copic markers.  Next a piece of patterned paper was die cut with an A2 scallop rectangle die and the word hello die cut from a left over scrap.  The colored panel was also die cut with the word hello, and I kept all the letter interior pieces to reinsert for the inlay.

Both the scallop panel and the colored panel were adhered to the white card base then the purple paper sentiment die cut was inlaid along with the saved interior pieces.

Because the paper color is rather subdued, it didn't seem to stand out sufficiently from the background so I used a shimmer pen to add sparkle and then covered the entire thing with crystal glaze.  This added a bit of dimension but helped it stand out a bit more.

Next, the second portion of the sentiment was stamped with black pigment ink and added to the card front with foam tape.  And finally a few clear sequins were adhered to add even more sparkle.

Thanks for visiting, it's always greatly appreciated!

Stef
