I'm also joining the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where the theme is Four Legged Friends.
I used a mini stamp that I received as a gift with purchase quite a while ago but never inked up until now.
This little mouse with her mug of cocoa is just so cute and was a snap to color with my Copic markers. I used colors for her scarf and mug to match the patterned paper. With the coloring complete, the sentiment was stamped in black and die cut along with the mouse.
The bokeh design patterned paper was trimmed down to 5.25" x 4", then cut in half at an angle. I ink blended a small amount of light blue ink on the panel for a bit of contrast on the plain side then adhered the patterned paper. After the main image and sentiment were added with foam tape, three clay hearts were added for a little whimsical touch, and I was done!
Thanks for taking time to visit, I appreciate it!
Take care!
Stef

This is just so sweet!! The little mouse is adorable and beautifully coloured and I love the bokeh winter designer paper! You've perfectly matched the ink with your blending in the background, too! Thanks for creating on the diagonal with us at As You See It Challenges!!
Awww, what a sweet little mouse! This is cute, Stef!
So beautifully CAS Stef! That mouse is adorable and his scarf compliments those papers so well. The addition of the pink hearts is the PERFECT finishing touch! Thanks for playing with us over at As You See It and The Paper Players this week!
This little mouse is as sweet as can be! She looks great with the AYSI sketch! Those background papers are sweet too! Thanks for playing with both AYSI AND the Players this week!
There's so much to love about this, Stef! The image itself is sweet without being oversweet, and is beautifully coloured. The subtle background adds a crispness and cleanness to the design while the tiny heart embellishments just add that something extra. Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It Challenge.
What a cute little critter! Love the diagonal sketch and the little hearts! Thanks for playing at The Paper Players this week!
Absolutely ADORABLE, Steph! Thanks so much for sharing!
