It's time for a new Color Challenge at Splitcoaststampers! Jeanne is hosting this week and has chosen the beautiful combination of Berry Burst, Powder Pink and Lemon-Lime Twist with a dessert option to make a thank you card.
I decided to use a stamp set with lots of fun butterfly images and some of my favorite sentiments with gorgeous fonts. The butterflies and leafy branch were colored with Copics similar to challenge colors and die cut with the matching dies. After deciding on the image placements on the die cut panel, the butterfly trail and sentiments were stamped with black pigment ink.
Before adhering the die cut panel to the card base, the butterflies and leaves were added with foam squares so the wings and bottom of the branch could be trimmed to fit. After the panel was adhered to the base, the final touches were to use a shimmer pen on the butterflies and add some pretty clear sequins.

This is so pretty Stef - the colours are lovely, but the thing that really strikes me is the layout - each element totally compliments the next and everything is perfectly positioned.
