Spring Flowers

Hello friends!  It's time for a new Color Challenge at Splitcoaststampers!  Mary is hosting this week and she has chosen Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz as her colors, with a dessert option to use an Easter or Spring theme.  'm also joining the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with the current Anything Goes theme.

I decided on a Spring theme, using a beautiful tulip image from Power Poppy.  It was colored with Copic (flowers) and Altenew Artist (leaves) markers in colors similar to those for the challenge.  Next, the panel was trimmed down, corners rounded and adhered to a slightly larger piece of white card stock.  I already had the die cut scallop square of Highland Heather card stock and decided to use it as an offset to the main image.  The sentiment is from the same PP stamp set.

I was going to mount on a plain Gorgeous Grape card base but felt like something more was needed, so I cut a slightly smaller panel of the same paper and embossed it, then adhered to the base.  The main image and the sentiment were then adhered with foam tape and a few iridescent jewels were added for a touch of bling.

So glad you were able to come by and visit!

Stef
