Hello and welcome! I have a card to share that I've made for two challenges - Festive Friday and Color Hues.
(It was fun to find out that in England a jumper is a Christmas sweater. Unfortunately, I didn't have a stamp with one but it's something to think about for next year!)
For I used red, green and gold which fits both challenges (gold is considered a neutral for the Color Hues challenge).
I love the Holiday Sprigs stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, and it has seen plenty of use in making my Christmas cards as it is fairly easy to make multiples. I started by stamping the images on multiple panels and coloring everything with Copic markers. When the coloring was complete, I put the panels back in my Misti and restamped with black pigment ink for a nice black outline. After die cutting, I painted the poinsettia centers with gold metallic paint, and added Glossy Accents to the berries on the one sprig.
Next, a panel of white was embossed with the Delicate Pine Branches 3D folder then adhered directly to the white card base. The sentiment was die cut from Matte Gold cardstock and adhered to the white shadow die cut twice and layered to add a bit more dimension so it would stand out better against the white background. The sprigs were adhered directly to the card, the candy canes on top of them, then the poinsettias added with thin foam tape. Festive and pretty easy!
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by, I really appreciate it!
Take care!
Stef

Steph, this is just a gorgeous card! I'm also a huge fan of that stamp set and hoping the die will come back in stock before too long! The white embossing folder is a wonderful backdrop to the beautiful florals and elegant sentiment! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
I have seen this stamp and die from SSS and the more I see it the more I feel I need it. LOL. This card just may have sealed the deal! Looks like Karen was won over too! Always a pleasure to come by and see your work up close! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues and Happy Holidays to you!
Beautiful, Stef! I love the clean layout. And those flowers...WOW! They really "pop" against the white embossed background. Thank you for sharing at Festive Friday this week!
Beautiful card Stef. The flowers and embossed background are so pretty together. I too love this stamp and die set and it should be arriving today. Can't wait to play with it.
What a beautiful card. The colouring and details on all the stamped pieces is great and in the finished card they just pop against that white background. Thank you for linking to the Festive Friday Challenge
Wow this is just beautiful. I love your colouring as well. Thank you for participating in the Festive Friday Challenge
I'm always surprised when I see another Poinsettia set I DON'T own! Goodness knows I love this one, too - so beautifully colored, Stef! Perfect over top of the wintery embossing.
