Really Like You

Hello all!  Tonight I'm sharing a card made for two challenges, CAS(E) this Sketch and the "Emboss It!" challenge at Stamp Ink Paper.

When I first saw the sketch I wasn't sure how I wanted to approach it, but I ended up opting for an easy option, using various patterned papers and stamps from my recently received Simon Says Stamp Monthly Kit, creating a Valentine's Day card for one of my grandsons.

After having fun sorting through what papers to use, I cut the strips, adhered them and trimmed off the excess around the edge of the card base.  Next I used my Misti to line up the sentiment and hearts in the upper left corner, stamped it in Craft Real Red ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

The Really Like You stamp set includes various label words and I stamped the "Happy Valentine's Day" with Versafine Onyx Black on white card stock, then hand trimmed and popped the words up with some foam tape.  And that, my friends, was all that was needed to make this fun card!

Thanks so much for visiting, it's always so appreciated!  I've included links to both challenges above, so please be sure to visit and enjoy all the beautiful inspiration!

Stef
