Hello friends! I hope this finds you staying safe and healthy. It's time for a new Tic Tac Toe Challenge! I am the Featured Designer this week and here's the board I created.
I chose the top horizontal line (School Bus, Book(s), Metallic) for my card. I recently acquired the darling Class Act from MFT and had to use it for my card!
I love these Birdie Brown images from MFT! I started by stamping the school girl and bus on a separate piece of white card, colored with Copic markers, then die cut with coordinating dies. For the bus door, I used a Copic Multiliner pen to add a second line down the door to create the look of a folding school bus door. Lastly, I used a white gel pen on the bus windows for a bit of reflection and silver metallic pen for the hub caps, bumper, grill and light holders.
To create the background I used a panel of white card, lightly inked blended some clouds in the sky with light blue distress ink, then used Copics to create the street, sidewalks and grass. I wasn't super thrilled with how the "sidewalk" turned out, I definitely need a bit more practice on perspective and creating backgrounds LOL!! On the upside, the grass turned out pretty well.
With the background complete, the panel was die cut with a stitched rectangle die and added to the card base with foam tape. The bus was adhered directly to the panel then our cute school girl and the heat embossed sentiment were added with foam tape.

This is just fabulous Stef - I love your little back to school scene and your colouring is nothing but perfection! So much detail - I need some lessons! I love this card!
