Delicate Flowers

Hello friends!  Tonight I'm sharing a card for the final celebration of the 400th sketch a Freshly Made Sketches.

I was in need of a card of encouragement for a dear friend that is going through chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer and this sketch worked perfectly for the card I had in mind.

I started with a panel of lovely patterned paper and added die cut scallops to each edge before adhering to the card base.  Next I cut a small white cardstock rectangle for layering the flowers upon but it looked rather plain, so a separate panel of white card stock was die cut with a detailed cover die, layered over the small rectangle with the excess trimmed off, then adhering to a slightly larger piece of green patterned paper.  The flowers and sentiment were then added to the rectangle before mounting on the base with foam tape.

Thanks so much for visiting, it's really appreciated!
