Congratulations for Freshly Made Sketches

Hello, yes a second post tonight!  This card is for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

I love all of the circles in the sketch and started with a Lace Doily followed by a small Gold Metallic Foil Doily.  Adding the gold doily set the direction for this card, and I then added retired gold Washi tapes for the horizontal piece.

After that I was trying to decide what the next additions should be when I saw a leafy branch cut from Vellum left over from another project, and decided to also add one of the flowers from the same die set, also cut from Vellum.

The vellum flower was layered on a circle cut from Shimmer card stock, then I added a bow of Gold Baker's Twine.  The sentiment was heat embossed on Basic Black card stock with gold embossing powder, trimmed down and a fish tail hand cut on one end before popping up on foam tape.

Thanks so much for visiting!  I've added a link above to the challenge, so be sure to head over there and enjoy all the beautiful inspiration!

Stef

I'm speechless. That's extremely rare for me. Your card is so stunning that I don't even know where to begin. The gold, the vellum, the embossing, all the fabulous and perfectly orchestrated layers and the fine details... everything is perfection. Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
