Hello and welcome back! Over at Splitcoaststampers, the current sketch challenge really caught my eye this week so I decided to use it as inspiration for the card I'm sharing with you today. I recently acquired some new dies from Simon Says Stamp, including the Circle of Leaves die that produced the beautiful leaf silhouette. When thinking about creating this card, I thought the retired Brushed Gold (SU) card stock would look spectacular behind the silhouette, then I hit on the idea of using Shimmer White card stock for the top panel. Although I couldn't pick it up with my photos, they two papers look beautiful together.
After the inlay portion was complete, the panel was popped up on foam tape and layered over the gold panel, then added to a Thick Whisper White card base. The final touch was adhering a gold sequin and some pearls. Very quick and CAS.
Below is the sketch and link to Splitcoaststampers, so be sure to head over there and enjoy all the beautiful inspiration!
As always, your visit and comments are so appreciated! Thanks for taking a look and have a great week!
Stef
