Big on Birthdays

Hi there!  Tonight I have a card to share that was made for a co-worker's birthday.  I needed a masculine card and was struggling with my mojo, so I searched Pinterest for ideas and found this card (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/501869952210965546/), which I decided to CASE.

 
I love the clean look of it, which was enhanced by using a monochromatic color scheme.  The layout from the original card was used, but the colors and stamp sets are different.  I used my Misti to stamp the sentiment and the hardest part in putting the card together was making sure to line up all the squares when I adhered them.  I know I will use this layout again in the future.
