Blue Corner Garden

Hello again and welcome back!  I have a card to share with you today that was made for two challenges - the color challenge at Pals Paper Arts and the sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps.

I love the colors for the PPA challenge this week but just couldn't decide what to make.  Then I saw the sketch at Sunday Stamps and knew in a snap what direction to go.  However I had to flip the sketch to accommodate the Corner Garden stamp.

Starting with a piece of Whisper White card stock, Corner Garden was stamped in Versamark, then heat embossed with Pewter embossing powder.  Soft Sky ink was sponged over the entire image, then Pool Party and Island Indigo were added. The Pool Party has enough of a hint of green to add some interesting ribbons of color in contrast to the darker Island Indigo.

A touch of silver was added, tying into the Pewter embossing.  The sentiment, from the retired Express Yourself, was stamped in Island Indigo on a Whisper White banner that was layered on top of a Silver Foil banner.

Thanks so much for your visit today!  I'd love to hear from you if you have a moment to leave a comment.  Be sure to use the links above to check out the challenges and all the wonderful inspiration.

Hugs,

Stef
