Venetian Lotus

Welcome back!  Today I have a brief post to share a card made using the sketch from Mojo Monday as the base for my design.  It's similar to one I posted back on December 27th (http://stefperry.blogspot.com/2014/12/lotus-thank-you.html) in that I am using the same stamp and dsp.

I added an element to the sketch by layering a circle with stamped Lotus flower on the top panel.  The flower is created by combining 3 stamps, all of which were inked in Island Indigo, with the third one stamped off for a lighter shade.

Rather than place a cross panel of card stock across the card, linen thread was used for that element, with the sentiment stamped below directly on the dsp.  A little Pistachio Pudding ruffle trim and some pearls finishes it off.

As always your visit and comments are so appreciated!  Please be sure to use the link to see all the lovely inspiration over at Mojo Monday.

Hugs,

Stef
