It's Sunday evening and the card I'm sharing was made with this week's Deconstructed Sketch and using the color challenge at the Dynamic Duos. Sadly, this is the final challenge at Dynamic Duos, as the owner has decided to close the blog. I've made a thank you card to recognize all the great inspiration from the color challenges and the wonderful design teams for the last two years.
At first I wasn't sure how I wanted to use this sketch, but when I saw the color challenge, it all fell into place. It was certainly a great way to use up designer paper scraps for the flags and retired dp for the envelope.
The card base is 4 1/4" square adhered to a 4 3/8" piece of Smoky Slate. The envelope and largest piece of designer paper on the card is from a retired Simply Scrappin' kit. It had been tucked away and neglected until I went looking for some Pool Party designer paper.
I love this color combination, it is so soft and fresh. The little circle under the sentiment was a single piece of the Delicate Details Lace Tape. My photo is so dark in the back, I'm not sure what happened, but I have no doubt is was operator error! ;-)
As always, I appreciate your visit and would love to hear from you if you have a moment to leave a comment!
Take care and have a great week!
