Just A Number

Hi there and welcome back!  Tonight my card again uses the new Just Sayin' stamp set (love those word bubbles!).  It's definitely a more a masculine style card, with clean lines and limited embellishments.  I actually made two with a slight variation and you'll have to let me know which one you like better.  I used the current challenge at Seize the Sketch for the layout.

I drew the color combination straight from the designer paper Birthday Basics and really loved how it all came together.

Raspberry Ripple is such a rich, saturated color, it is a wonderful backdrop for the embossed Summer Starfruit circle and the fun print of multicolored numbers.  So on this card I used the Summer Starfruit twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack (free during Sale-A-Bration for a $50 order).  On the next card I used some Stitched Satin ribbon.

I think I like the twine better than the ribbon; I just like the texture it brings to the card.  I have a friend at work that asked to buy some masculine birthday cards; I hope she like these.

Thanks for visiting!  I hope you have a great week ahead!

Hugs,

Stef
