I am especially fond of Art Impressions stamps with humor and I picked up one earlier this year and thought it would work perfectly for this challenge.
Love this cranky old lady and I find the sentiment so funny! I stamped her and the sentiment on a panel of die cut white, then set about coloring her with Copic markers. I used a Copic Acrea paint marker in Snow White to add the polka dots on her hat and the stripes on her balloon. Unlike most white gel pen, the paint marker doesn't absorb the ink colors underneath, so it's one of my new favorite tools!
I used a polka dot background stamp on the card base, then added the matted arch with our birthday gal and called it done.

She's one of my faves too, that set has a bunch of snarky sentiments that work well for ladies of a certain age! Fabulous colouring too. :)
As soon as I saw your card, I smiled from ear to ear. Love that stamp and of course the greeting too. The polka dots work great with the color pairing. Wonderful birthday card that someone is going to love dearly.

It's all about those boobs, lol! This would be perfect for my 76th tomorrow, Stef! I'm going to print it and put it on my desk cuz that's the right 'tude to have about it!
