Spice Cake Birthday

Hi there!  Today I'm sharing a card I put together this afternoon.  I needed a card for a co-worker's birthday this week and here's what I ended up with.

I pulled out a piece of Spice Cake designer series paper and used the colors in it for coloring the Bonsai tree image.  I know - Bonsai and paisley? - call it artistic license, LOL!!  I just love that beautiful tree and enjoyed coloring it with reinkers and a Blender pen.

The layout is from the current challenge at retrosketches.  I'm also entering my card in the current challenge at Seize The Birthday.  I've added links below to each challenge, so be sure to head on over and admire all the amazing inspiration!

Thanks for visiting!

Stef

Stef you have used one of my favorite patterned papers, and an old stamp set that I won't part with either! Love them both, and they are so awesome together. So glad you joined us this week at Seize the Birthday!
