Grateful Talk

Welcome back!  Tonight the card I'm sharing is one of four in a gift set I made for a friend who is having a birthday tomorrow.  She is a special friend in many ways, and she is the one that introduced me to card making and to Stampin' Up! products!  Thank you Tracey!

I'm continuing on with the color combination from ColorQ (http://colourq.blogspot.com/) that started the card I posted this morning (Kraft, Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, and Primrose Petals) that will be Tracey's birthday card.  Atop the Crumb Cake base is a banner of Blushing Bride topped with a smaller banner of the same color in a retired In Color Pattern Pack.

The Deco framelit consists of Primrose Petals Core'dinations paper embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder.  After embossing, I used the Stampin' Sanding Block on the raised portion but it didn't look right with the rest of the card so I flipped it over to use the debossed side.  The sentiment was stamped in Primrose then punched out with the Wide Oval punch. The Pink Pirouette Candy Dot on each side of the oval helped tie in the lighter and darker pinks.

Well, it's time to make my lunch and get ready for the upcoming work week.  I will post the remaining three cards I made for Tracey this week, so please check back in to see them. Thanks for the visit and have a great week!!

Hugs,

Stef
